Hello-Hello and happy Thursday. It’s been a busy week here at The Prepatorium, I am more-than-grateful to the Consort for his help in posting!
As most of our treasured readers have heard, there’s a new Prince in town.

And he’s even got a name now. His full title is His Royal Highness, Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge.

Everyone looks very happy, I thought Kate was glowing when they introduced their son to the world on Tuesday. It appears Prince William has a sense of humor about it all. From the Telegraph’s blog:
He showed the young Prince’s head and added: “He has got more hair than me, thank God.”
And it seems Dad is able to handle some of the chores his ancestors may have eschewed. The following is from a piece on the official Duke & Duchess of Cambridge website:
Asked about changing nappies The Duke said: “We’ve done that already,” and The Duchess agreed saying: “he’s done his first nappy already”.
Somehow I’m not seeing Prince Charles doing diaper duty in his day.
The thing about all of this I can’t fathom is the pressure to come out in front of that global media crush 24 hours after giving birth in full dress, hose, heels (wedges) and makeup. Even with all of the help in the world it just seems like an extraordinary stressor.
There are some companies with cute ways of capitalizing on all of the hype and hysteria over Prince George. This is Legoland’s depiction of the new family, showing the baby in his stroller pram in front of the Palace, complete with that easel holding his birth announcement.

Hmmm, that one might go in the “well, their hearts were in the right place” category.
I like this one, it’s just the OCD part of me wishes they had pressed the onesie (known as a ‘babygro’ in the UK) before they shot the photo.
