Hello-Hello, and Happy Monday. Normally there would be a blog post in this space, lately we have been publishing on a Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule.
But, as many know only too well today, there was some nasty weather in many parts of the country. Here’s the worst of the aftermath in our corner of the globe.
We are extremely grateful no one was hurt. Unfortunately we can’t say the same for the neighbor’s house, which is where our beech tree ended up.
In the grand scheme of things this is very, very minor.
There are so many people coping with much worse circumstances and losses today, this barely registers. And it shouldn’t. You don’t have to look very hard to see the truly awful aftermath from yesterday’s storms, this is Washington, Illinois.
